Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Pascual Carballar's late challenge caught a Gremengo FCCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Carballar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pascual Carballar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Carballar couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Diego Armando Messi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Carballar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Yerro in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Messi in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play forced Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Bermudez in the 57th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Uriel Bermudez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gremengo FCCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
