With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmyr Loyola in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventus EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Bilbo Arzube despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bilbo Arzube made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match.
