An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced FriBeRtz Football Club's goalkeeper Qiu Xing Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodger Dufour kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, FriBeRtz Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Qiu Xing Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hassan Barrow hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Alonzo Weldon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FriBeRtz Football Club and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Xing Zhen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Qiu Xing Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Xing Zhen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Barrow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiu Xing Zhen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FriBeRtz Football Club's Hassan Barrow got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arthur Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a defensive mix-up in FriBeRtz Football Club's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qiu Xing Zhen came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FriBeRtz Football Club's Qiu Xing Zhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiu Xing Zhen having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Qiu Xing Zhen in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qiu Xing Zhen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target.
