Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Cesaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Maropoulos's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Maropoulos in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rafael Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fix having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Maropoulos. 17 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rafael Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Fix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 34th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Peru's Anthony Alvarado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anthony Alvarado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anthony Alvarado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Alex Palleschi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolando Noboa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dimitris Maropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Maropoulos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Montrel. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Maropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After some careless play in the Pan Queso y Leberbush FC defense, Milagros Fraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Fix. The Pan Queso y Leberbush FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Fix should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pan Queso y Leberbush FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
