Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SESI UNITED's Cristiano Matorin. But to his dismay, Cristiano Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tincho Palermos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, SESI UNITED's Jacobo Nores threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Matorin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Matorin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Sidnei da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SESI UNITED's Adrianinho Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SESI UNITED. Cristiano Matorin scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Ma Kuan Yun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lenílson Soeiro. SESI UNITED's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Paraguay booed when SESI UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Ma Kuan Yun made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. Cristiano Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes SESI UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Tincho Palermo. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 61st minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matorin in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Matorin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Cristiano Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Cristiano Matorin sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Tincho Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SESI UNITED's Tincho Palermo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes in the game Cristiano Matorin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ma Kuan Yun. In the 93rd minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Cristiano Matorin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The SESI UNITED players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
