Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gaspar Bertran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Daniel Chan hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Regis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 5 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Teobaldo Dantel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 9th minute of the match, Gaspar Bertran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Gaspar Bertran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. The supporters of CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Everardo Quilo tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benito Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Regis having to interfere. Benito Regis came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Dantel in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Anastasio Cloyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Everardo Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Quilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Anastasio Cloyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Bertran in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Eladio in the 55th minute of play. Fausto Sidoro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Bertran in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Regis having to interfere. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Bertran's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. A collision led to CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Anastasio Aimar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Regis. The CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Regis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Dantel in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Quilo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Eladio came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Bertran came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
