Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mo Qi Yu sent off a good shot on target. When %teams%'s Carlo Darrigrande was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 34 minutes into the game. Pedro Manzanares was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Carlo Darrigrande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Carlo Darrigrande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas De la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 62nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Darrigrande came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
