Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Daniele Paolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Paolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Viviano in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rzepiko Wrocław's Daniele Paolini. Daniele Paolini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Paolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. At last the ball reached Felix Montes at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Rzepiko Wrocław. 0-2. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Paolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rzepiko Wrocław's Daniele Paolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Luis Andino had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Adam Frizell's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Frizell helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Luis Andino. Colin McEoin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Bermúdez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Linklater in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gareth McGilvray kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rzepiko Wrocław's Daniele Paolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Rzepiko Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth McIldowie to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Rzepiko Wrocław's Felipe Bermúdez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Bermúdez's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 79 minutes, Felipe Bermúdez made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rzepiko Wrocław's Gareth McGilvray got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Viviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rzepiko Wrocław's Daniele Paolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Rzepiko Wrocław from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Linklater in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Felipe Bermúdez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rzepiko Wrocław's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Bermúdez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Rzepiko Wrocław to leave the ground with a draw.
