Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 45 minutes into the game, Godfredo Erruki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes, Joaquin Ur made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
