The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Eladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Regis saved CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! from getting behind. Benito Regis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Espinar went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Everardo Quilo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's Christian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Benito Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. Guillermo Telesforo's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Telesforo helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Telesforo. Everardo Quilo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Chan in the 46 minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! made a substitution. Fausto Sidoro replaced Julian Santiago. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Everardo Quilo was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Everardo Quilo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Daniel Chan got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Teobaldo Dantel. The throw-in from Daniel Chan in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 70 minutes into the match, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s goalkeeper Benito Regis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Dantel in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Benito Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Regis came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 80th match minute, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Rey to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Eladio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Benito Regis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Regis made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Chan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 2-2. CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
