Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Robinho Urbano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Capibaribe Stars fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Capibaribe Stars's Henry Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Henry Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 13th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Toscano. Capibaribe Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 16 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano. Thomás Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 34 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Robinho Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Lothar Matthäus hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Henry Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lothar Matthäus kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Urbano in the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Urbano in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Robinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Robinho Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinho Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robinho Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robinho Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Robinho Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Hicham Al Azka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ignacio Mastache could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Thomás Toscano however easily saved by the left post. In the 77th minute Henry Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Costa in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute Robinho Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Costa in the 90th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilton Fontes in the 92nd minute. Capibaribe Stars's Wilton Fontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. There was no doubt that Capibaribe Stars were the better team. Capibaribe Stars's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
