Godfredo Bento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Godfredo Bento in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Senon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Baldomero Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Godfredo Bento got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Bento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joga Bonito hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Sugoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 53rd minute of the match. Godfredo Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Baldomero Sugoi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Raul Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Godfredo Bento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Godfredo Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Raul Senon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Godfredo Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Godfredo Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 92nd minute of play. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
