But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Felix Montes fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Julio Vera, was totally fooled by Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Chen Lin De, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hector Azeari might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Azeari ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Quentin skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Joaquin Ur was substituted for Hector Azeari. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Joaquin Ur took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Virgilio Quentin 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Guillelmus hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Ramiro Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's protests and gave Ramiro Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Federigo. 92 minutes into the match, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Joaquin Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
