After 40 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Bernabe Checa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Nataniel was the one to do the kick off. When Wit Gollob fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Gran Torino A S's protests and gave Wit Gollob a yellow card for diving instead. Wit Gollob kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, El Gran Torino A S's Filippo Cruciani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, El Gran Torino A S's Gaudencio Nataniel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Gaudencio Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Azevedo got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
