Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xan Revillas kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Xan Revillas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after CD Municipal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Xan Revillas. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. Sagrario Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes, CD Municipal's Kemen Zalon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Municipal reached it. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Sagrario Paniagua in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sagrario Paniagua. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Mambru Entrala. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 68th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in CD Municipal's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sagrario Paniagua came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Sagrario Paniagua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 minutes, Mambru Entrala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Municipal! Sagrario Paniagua had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sagrario Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Sagrario Paniagua to make any attempt to save it. Sagrario Paniagua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sagrario Paniagua saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
