Benito Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Quilo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Cloyo in the 16th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Bertran in the 18th minute of play. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Cloyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 43 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! made a substitution. Fausto Sidoro replaced Julian Santiago. The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Axel Tasis made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s Benito Regis managed to reach the ball for a save. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaspar Bertran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 66 minute of play. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Anastasio Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
