The corner ended in Santino Seco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu did a great save. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 34th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoro Soto in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Nurettin Tun made a throw-in in the 50th minute of the game. After 53 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. 55 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şenel Rafet. Carno FK's Fehmi Akçiçek was substituted for Karhan Topçay. In the 80th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Carno FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Colombia's Kevin Mastache to fire away a dangerous shot which Hayrullah İrfanoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Vollander got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
