In the 9th minute, Danial Salter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Danial Salter took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Chung's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Chung in the 24th minute of play. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacy Kitchen in the 25th minute of the match. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Chung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After having played for 34 minutes, Ian Chung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Chung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Chung's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Danial Salter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Chung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Lake Wales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Calhoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Stacy Kitchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Danial Salter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Wales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Francisco Gallo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toby Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Lake Wales FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
