Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo de Carvalho in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jägermeister FC's goalkeeper Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Jägermeister FC's Angelo de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Angelo de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 37th minute of the match. Mateus Favoretto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateus Favoretto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Mateus Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Jägermeister FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando França during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jägermeister FC's Luiz Fernando França got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Mateus Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateus Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Donato in the 74th minute of play. When Jägermeister FC's Mateus Favoretto in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Angelo de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Favoretto. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fabrício Donato sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
