The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Quentin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
