Arild IF's Per-Åke Vik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Arild IF's goalkeeper Per-Åke Vik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Jonatan Ekgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Jonatan Ekgren from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After having played for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonatan Ekgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Ekgren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jonatan Ekgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arild IF's Per-Åke Vik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Åke Vik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Per-Åke Vik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. When Jonatan Ekgren came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Arild IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Ekgren couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jonatan Ekgren sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Vik made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arild IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arild IF's Per-Åke Vik did a great save. In the 54th match minute, Arild IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Dalman to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Per-Åke Vik's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Ekgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 61 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Arild IF's Per-Åke Vik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arild IF's goalkeeper Per-Åke Vik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Arild IF's Per-Åke Vik got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arild IF made a substitution. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Per-Åke Vik made a huge save. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arild IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Ekgren in the 92nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ekgren in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arild IF.
