Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kyle Davies started the match with the kick off. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Wray in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ian Chung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Wales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Lake Wales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Yeats to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Ian Chung cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Garth Wray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Wray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 22nd minute Garth Wray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Lake Wales FC's Lance Yeats made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Danial Salter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Wales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Kyle Davies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rinto Kalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Lake Wales FC's Ian Chung nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 38 minutes into the game, Garth Wray cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, Lake Wales FC's Ian Chung nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 46th minute, Roland Davenport ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Chung to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Chung. Lake Wales FC's Rey Ivey got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stacy Kitchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Garth Wray notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Ian Chung made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. In the 64th minute, Lake Wales FC's Danial Salter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 68th minute of play forced Lake Wales FC's goalkeeper Rinto Kalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danial Salter's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When Rocco Owen fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Rocco Owen a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Ian Chung got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-14. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Salter in the 75th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Lake Wales FC got a corner. Curacao's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Garth Wray ran over to the corner to take the kick. Garth Wray made a great header on Lake Wales FC's corner, it was just that Curacao's Bruno Barrett managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Davenport in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Ian Chung could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Roland Davenport could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Bruno Barrett however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. Ian Chung came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. If Stacy Kitchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lake Wales FC made a substitution. Toby Ruiz replaced Ian Chung. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Toby Ruiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toby Ruiz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. Toby Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lake Wales FC's Phillip Calhoun got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lake Wales FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
