Rodney Emmanuel hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 李云博 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noel Seide. Haiti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 汪烨强 in the 4th minute of the match. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 袁乐悦 in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, 袁乐悦 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Haiti's Ernso Constant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 鲁西朋 in the 20 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Gesner Philippe got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 袁乐悦. 于凌亮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, 康洋志 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Saint Jean Pierre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jean Marie Alcius hit a great ball. 李云博 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Noel Seide successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A sloppy throw-in by 李云博 in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel. 上海星光队's 于凌亮 got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 袁鹏榕 during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Haiti booed when 上海星光队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. 袁鹏榕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 上海星光队's 于凌亮 got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a left leg Noel Seide saved Haiti from getting behind. The 上海星光队 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Haiti to win.
