In the 3rd minute, Min Son got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Rocchi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Xv de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ander Uibomäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Txatxu in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Txatxu in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Xv de Piracicaba's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeronimo Txatxu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xv de Piracicaba's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Min Son showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Min Son in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Alfredo Rocchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xv de Piracicaba's Jeronimo Txatxu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Sandberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Xv de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Ander Uibomäe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Rocchi in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Menezes in the 57th minute of the match. Alfredo Rocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Rocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Menezes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Sebastian Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Xv de Piracicaba's Alfredo Rocchi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Menezes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Txatxu in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Xv de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ander Uibomäe to maneuver through the defense. Xv de Piracicaba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
