Eduardo Fontirroig might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Turek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Miroslaw Labus got a free kick in the 26th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Fontirroig got free with Jan Turek in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Benito Madrid hit a great ball. After 42 minutes, Norbert Mikulski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute of the match Benito Madrid sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Turek skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

57 minutes into the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Jan Turek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Eduardo Fontirroig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Bolivia booed when GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Labus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Fernandino's late challenge caught a GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Leszek Tusk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Turek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Prus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Iwo Kuszczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Bolivia had been in control for most of the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ still came away with the win.
