Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Jaroslaw Gozdowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bogoryja SA's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Majtyka came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogoryja SA the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Bogoryja SA's Jaroslaw Gozdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Czeslaw Podolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jaroslaw Gozdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Majtyka having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bogoryja SA's Lukasz Bentkowski got a free kick in the 34th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Gozdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslaw Gozdowski made a kick off. Jaroslaw Gozdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Gozdowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Bogoryja SA's goalkeeper Slawomir Majtyka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. If Czeslaw Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Gozdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Plachetka in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Gozdowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jaroslaw Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Gozdowski in the 80th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslaw Gozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Gozdowski in the 86th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
