Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lucas Barcelos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Barcelos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, C A U's Lucas Barcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Barcelos in the 18th minute of play. When Lucas Barcelos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the C A U fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Barcelos couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Barcelos in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Danilo Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Hrabina kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 33rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Barcelos in the 40th minute of play. Lucas Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Feliberto Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After 58 played minutes C A U got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Barcelos. C A U made a substitution. Ceferino Hever replaced Conrado Ferrer. After 59 played minutes C A U got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Barcelos. When C A U's Lucas Barcelos in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Barcelos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, C A U's Nazar Colombo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C A U's Danilo Osasun got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lucas Barcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jorge Nahia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jorge Nahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jorge Nahia sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, C A U's Jorge Nahia made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The C A U supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C A U would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
