In the 4th minute, Caetano Esquide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SAS's Caetano Esquide got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vincent Guixe's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Guixe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Vincent Guixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskitz Tendiero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Caetano Bebias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SAS's Caetano Bebias got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Caetano Esquide took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guipuzkoa Velamines having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskitz Tendiero in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guipuzkoa Velamines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guipuzkoa Velamines came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Guipuzkoa Velamines. SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Guipuzkoa Velamines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guipuzkoa Velamines saved SAS from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Ramiro Urones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes, Oskitz Tendiero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Oskitz Tendiero hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guipuzkoa Velamines having to interfere. Oskitz Tendiero hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Guipuzkoa Velamines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Guipuzkoa Velamines made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SAS.
