Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Cordairo Segura despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Cordairo Segura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cordairo Segura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
