Leontin Racoviceanu had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Luca Zorita from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Racoviceanu saved Romania from getting behind. With a little luck, Romania's Leontin Racoviceanu got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Penescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
