Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Rodolfo Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th match minute, Du Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Pflüger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo-Eduardo do Nascimento came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Du Esporte Clube's Edu Cavalcante got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute Du Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Markus Pflüger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sílvio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Du Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Costa couldn't finish the play. 雷钢青 took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Costa made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Sílvio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Sílvio Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Du Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Arnaldo Lizer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Markus Pflüger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 81st minute Sílvio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markus Pflüger. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
