In the 17th minute Ernesto Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Gaztea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Gaztea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eusebio Sagrario in the 30 minute of the game. Iker Tafalla's late challenge caught a ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. Iker Tafalla hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ernesto Gaztea took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Gaztea came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ernesto Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Gaztea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Gaztea made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 57th minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fidel Ovando hit a great ball. If Ernesto Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ernesto Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Gaztea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ernesto Gaztea sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ernesto Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Gaztea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Eusebio Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Ernesto Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Gaztea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
