Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alan Turin got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Turin in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. Astor Corderun charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Corderun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Garrapatita Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Astor Corderun. Hermengildo Jaume made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 21 minutes, Fernan Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Turin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Turin came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garrapatita Futbol were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alan Turin took the corner. Alan Turin made a great header on Garrapatita Futbol's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Garrapatita Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Gisbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hermengildo Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Alan Turin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Fernan Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Isidoro Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garrapatita Futbol's Alfredo Gorri was substituted for Alan Turin. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alfredo Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Gorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Garoa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garrapatita Futbol. 85 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Garrapatita Futbol's Hermengildo Jaume. Hermengildo Jaume was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Garrapatita Futbol's Hermengildo Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 93rd minute of play. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
