After 15 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoryja SA. When Bartlomiej Ochylski fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bogoryja SA's protests and gave Bartlomiej Ochylski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Bogoryja SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Ochylski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Gozdowski to make the kick off. Ricardo Zorita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rafal Plachetka. 57 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Gozdowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-1. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaroslaw Gozdowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. Bogoryja SA's Jakub Dejo suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Luis Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bogoryja SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslaw Gozdowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogoryja SA's Wasyl Bochinski pulled a muscle in his back after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 87th minute of the match Luis Rubio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Slawomir Majtyka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bogoryja SA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
