A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Capivara's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zafer Yalçıner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Zafer Yalçıner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Cosme got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Cosme in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 75 minutes, Leandro Cosme made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otávio Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Capivara's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but 狄雄鸿 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
