Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luciano Pancho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Eriberto Olo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coyotes. Genaro Veronica hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Honduras's Moises Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Bernat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Coyotes's Genaro Veronica got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Coyotes's Leandro Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Coyotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Veronica to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Luciano Pancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coyotes and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Pancho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Gabriel Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Christian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Leandro Bernat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Moises Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Bernat having to make a save. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Leandro Bernat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leandro Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Sancho in the 56th minute of the match. Leandro Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Genaro Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Bernat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Kemen during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Coyotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Luciano Pancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Coyotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Leandro Bernat threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mariano Satordi made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Faustino Guillerme however managed to control. In the 96th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Coyotes.
