Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Pancho got free with Benito Sanz in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 7 played minutes Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Satordi. In the 14th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The supporters of Coyotes booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Bernat having to interfere. Natalio Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Alcocer in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Bernat saved Coyotes from getting behind. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pancho in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Coyotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Cordera to maneuver through the defense. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead.

Luciano Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Eriberto Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Maximino Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Veronica in the 84th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leandro Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Axel Tasis could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Leandro Bernat however easily saved by the left post. Mariano Satordi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Coyotes's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Leandro Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coyotes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
