With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dawid Laskowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Prestes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Masters the free kick. Gong Guang Yi's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blue Masters's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
