The crowd rose to their feet as Finlay Stair kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baiona Abadie. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Aballe in the 22nd minute of play. The Jamaica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Chupeño were winning 1-4.

The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Chupeño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
