Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredão Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alfredão Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredão Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Vila Nova GO's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alfredão Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Fellipe Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Nova GO and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Vila Nova GO got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Tróia. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredão Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Claudinei Passos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Alfredão Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vila Nova GO's Fellipe Tróia got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Fellipe Tróia off the ground. After 26 played minutes Vila Nova GO got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Tróia. A collision led to Vila Nova GO getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aílton Veiga hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vila Nova GO. Alfredão Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas. Alfredão Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. Claudinei Passos's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Passos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vila Nova GO getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Claudinei Passos hit a great ball. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão Freitas having to make a save. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Freitas. Alfredão Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 46 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredão Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Passos to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Cristian Sancho rounded Vila Nova GO's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute of play. Alfredão Freitas made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredão Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. Alfredão Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 88th minute of the match. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Freitas. Alfredão Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredão Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alfredão Freitas in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
