After 2 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Bertie Johnson. Calisto Aballe struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chupeño. 6 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Aballe came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Chupeño's Dantae Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Aballe in the 14th minute of play. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Sportivo Chupeño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavaier Abajas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calisto Aballe in the 22nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Abecia in the 24th minute of play. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calisto Aballe's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Abecia in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Troy Kennedy's late challenge caught a Sportivo Chupeño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calisto Aballe struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Abecia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calisto Aballe to strike the kick off in the second half. Calisto Aballe took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chupeño's Vedillo Abeijon got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Doyle. Calisto Aballes short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Calisto Aballe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Turi Abenda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 72 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Chupeño the free kick. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dantae Abeita. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo Chupeño's Calisto Aballe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-6 after 89 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calisto Aballe got free with Bruno Barrett in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Chupeño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
