Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Genaro Veronica came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Coyotes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Veronica couldn't finish the play. Genaro Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Guillerme. Leandro Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Baleren in the 16th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Maximino Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Baleren in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Faustino Guillerme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Guillerme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Coyotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Maximino Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coyotes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luciano Pancho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 45 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coyotes the free kick. In the 45th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Luque to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Guillerme in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Luciano Pancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Maximino Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Coyotes's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Bernat came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Coyotes's Luciano Pancho in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pancho came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coyotes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
