Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fellipe Botelho kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Alfaks having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, OSASCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. During the 15th minute of the match Betinho Pimenta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Betinho Pimenta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when OSASCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. OSASCO FC's Kjeld Hofgaard got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Botelho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fellipe Botelho in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Paulão Alfaks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Fellipe Botelho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Noel Pimenta got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fellipe Botelho. In the 42nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Alfaks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Botelho in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Fellipe Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OSASCO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Fellipe Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulão Alfaks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Alfaks was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Söder in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Quirino came free in the 76th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jonathan Ferrant, but to the joy of Venezuela's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Botelho in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 81st minute of the game Noel Pimenta made a throw-in which Sixto Felipillo played forward. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Alfaks having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Fellipe Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
