Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Ciceron started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When Miguel Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Malvinas Argentinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ciceron couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, one of Malvinas Argentinas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomas Illescas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 18thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malvinas Argentinas's Ermegildo Baristo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Malvinas Argentinas's Ermegildo Baristo. Ermegildo Baristo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas Argentinas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Baristo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ciceron in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Serafin Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Natanael in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Malvinas Argentinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute Serafin Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Baristo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ermegildo Baristo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Medero. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Miguel Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ermegildo Baristo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Baristo having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Miguel Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
