Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Virgílio Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgílio Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cipriano de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Nueva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Angelino Nueva in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Virgílio Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Federico Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that Reko-Recko 03™ were the better team. Reko-Recko 03™'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
