Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After having played for 11 minutes, Luís Fernando Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Régis Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. André Luiz Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Flóki van Dam in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. After having played for 31 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, André Luiz Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and André Luiz Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Marques in the 53rd minute of play. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio de Azevedo. That made the score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, André Luiz Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Zanette to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luís Fernando Tavares hit a great ball. Sérgio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo did a great save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes, Mathias Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BMB IMOVEIS SC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Mathias Vidal got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Luís Fernando Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
