Tiburcio Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Tiburcio Ruisko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. Amador Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas Argentinas's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Christobal came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Christobal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Malvinas Argentinas's Amador Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Christobal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Christobal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Malvinas Argentinas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eloy Raymundo hit a great ball. The Malvinas Argentinas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Amador Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Amador Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Amador Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 67th minute of play. Amador Christobal was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Cristian Sancho succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. After 81 played minutes Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Beltxe. Amador Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Amador Christobal made a huge save. Amador Christobal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Amador Christobal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 90 minute of play. Malvinas Argentinas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Amador Christobal, making the score, 0-10. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
