After 2 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Dolarea. Sindo Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ksawery Furgal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Furgal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artal Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Ermengol Alberete came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermengol Alberete couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ermengol Alberete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The Socavon FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermengol Alberete, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Artal Baltanas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Furgal in the 25th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Socavon FC's Artal Baltanas. But to his dismay, Artal Baltanas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artal Baltanas in the 30th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, USA's Cassius Byrne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sindo Porregimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 51st match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Rogers to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenson Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fehmi Erdemer. 58 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artal Baltanas. Ermengol Alberete struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. After having played for 63 minutes, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monty Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Alberete came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artal Baltanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Socavon FC's Bernaldo Maquibar was substituted for Marquez Dolarea. Socavon FC made a substitution. Intxixu Huarte replaced Artal Baltanas. In the 76th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Kon to maneuver through the defense. Jenson Smith shot from long distance after 78 played minutes, a shot that Sindo Porregimon with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Intxixu Huarte sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koby Fletcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Fehmi Erdemer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob May to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of USA booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maciek Cash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Socavon FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as USA had held the ball for most of the match.
