With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Mark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bertoni in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark did a great save. LA IMPRENTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Espiridion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liu Chang Hong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
