Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jacobo Chepe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kang Li came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Jerardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Roberto Bonano managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Bonano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Jerardo in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Carolo Jerardo sent off a good shot on target. Carolo Jerardo in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Deportivo Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Albino Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pergamino's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Jeraldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cesar Egun tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Albino Jeraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pergamino's Cesar Egun got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Jerardo got free with Julio Vera in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albino Jeraldo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Bonano skillfully saved the ball. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
